iAttendance - Great Attendance Tracker App Reviews

The app itself works well in theory and Ive used it all year until it was all wiped out when the 5.1 iOS update was released. Developer has acknowledged this issue, and recommends backing up often, but the backup doesnt work (generates a blank e-mail). There are other bugs that tend to wipe out attendance. Cannot find any link to e-mail developer to ask questions.

This is well organized, functional and easy to use!! Well supported by developers with an easy back up mechanism! Great app for any attendance needs, all in one!

Im using this software to track attendance with my youth group and it is the best Ive found. Some things Id really like to see would be a native iOS7 interface and ability to export attendance data and stats to Excel spreadsheets for easy manipulation and presentation of stats. Will continue to use and hope for further updates!

Using this for youth group check in also but it is very slow. I would love an update!!!

Nice little app, BUT all data is gone if you update your OS, your iPhone, and upgrade. How absurd! Then under “MORE” on the right side, there’s a DATA LOSS WARNING. Too late. Ugh! Is there no remedy for this?

This has happened to me twice now. One day all good, next day everything gone. Unable to backup or retrieve data. Dont waste your time or money on this app.

Data disappears overnight, dates on summary table wrong, custom types of people doesnt work, repeat events doesnt work. Filled out bug forms, but no response. Dont waste your time with this app!!!

This was a wonderful app, but has not been updated for years! I used this app for a long time but sadly, its become too problematic. All my data disappears randomly and though I back up, its still too much to deal with anymore. So unfortunate, because there is NO other attendance app like IAttendance, with the features and developer response this one had. The developer says he can no longer update it. Though Ill use it as long as I can, I cant recommend any more, but will happily support any developer who can create another like this one!

When is an update coming out?

I bought this app for use in our childrens ministry. I needed to assign children to multiple classes and be able to check attendance and easily send it to our office staff to track in our database. The initial version of this app was sluggish but the developers were working hard on it. This new version is excellent and I believe it will meet our needs! I can set up groups on my ipad and send the data to other users with the app to track and email attendance in their classes, or, go from room to room and quickly track on my own ipad and email in to the staff. It is easy to add children and they can be put into groups as they are added into the app. Events are now much easier to set up and can be duplicated (each class with a different date). And, as someone involved in community events, I can see a use for this app in local sports and other meetings. Last, I believe it will be useful for special events - just set up an event and as attendees arrive, select them into the app. Now, I will have all the information on attendees (emergency contact) on the ipad and not a lot of paperwork and sign up lists to carry around. It will be so much quicker than typing in names on notepad. I fully recommend this app.

I had a question for the developer and had an answer in under two hours. Wow! He says the next release will be more intuitive. In the meantime, just know that you have to create people and put them in groups before you can create an event.

Great app just what I wanted for use in my Sunday School class, thanks. In the latest update you added the ability to mark who paid, now if I could keep track of how much $ and a running total and grand total.

This app really makes my classroom tracking a breeze. I love taking attendance on the iPad. The interface is attractive and intuitive. The dev team is very committed to continually improving the product.

Awesome changes! Thanks. Changed my rating to a 5. Update #2: I LOVE this app. I use it every day to keep attendance records. The developer is SUPER responsive to requests..... So heres my next request. The export to Excel does not feed into separate columns, so the dates dont match up. It shows who was present/absent but not on what date.
